Ok first thing to do is put the lower gear shaft in. It just barely clears. Don't put the bearings in yet.

Going in-----------------------Done
Now it's time to put the mainshaft assembly together.

Make sure when you put the synchro slider assembly and the blocker rings
on, the 3 keys engage in the 3 slots on the blocker ring. This is very important
for ALL the blocker rings.

Side 1 is done *Note you can
also put the bearing on at this time, I put it on later.
The input shaft has 1 bearing in the center and 1 blocker ring. Insert the bearing into the center, and insert the input shaft into the transmission case.
Put the blocker in the mainshaft assembly, and install the mainshaft assembly into the transmission case. It is a very tight fit and you will need to lay the case on its side. Insert the end of the mainshaft into the input shaft.
I put this bearing on after getting the mainshaft in the case, but you can put it on before putting the assembly in. It will need to be tapped onto the shaft.
Now you can put the bottom shaft bearings in.
Next put the steel cover on. The hole with the counter bore goes up, around the mainshaft.
Now the aluminum cover. First just put it on with the regular spacer for the input bearing. Tighten it with 2 bolts (diagonaly around the mainshaft bearing) and see if the input shaft has any play in it. If it does you will need to add shims underneath the steel bearing spacer. Start with the thinnest shim and keep trying until the input shaft doesn't wiggle. Make sure you don't go too thick on the shims, this will put stress on the bearings and components. I ended up using 2 shims, the thickest and the thinnest. There were 3 shims and the thicknesses were .005, .010, and .015.
Seal around the cover with black silicone and install the cover. Be careful that the seal goes on properly.
